Our flexible manufacturing process and raw material mean that we can make a wide variety of sizes. We can also offer different weld specifications or metallurgical properties, or alternative steel grades or other design requirements by arrangement. This graphic shows the new crew quaters on an the Yolla Off-shore Oil Platorm built by Fitzroy Engineering in New Plymouth. The beams for this project required steel that was G350 and Charpy tested to 27 joules at minue 40 degrees celcius. The welding and inspection had to meet the high standards required by oil industry for off-shore installations.
